+# Epomaker Galaxy100 Lite Stable Release
+
+Release date: `2026-03-20`
+
+This release packages the current best confirmed build for the Epomaker Galaxy100 Lite firmware mod project.
+
+Included files:
+- `firmware/Epomaker Galaxy100 Lite CS8910-V108-20250610_StableFallback_AllFeatures_AckCleanup.bin`
+- `via/Epomaker Galaxy100 Lite - Stable Per-Key, Backlight, Lock Toggle, Persistence, and Cycle In Out Dual.JSON`
+- `SHA256SUMS.txt`
+
+Confirmed working features:
+- Stock `Backlight` controls work in VIA.
+- `Caps Lock` / `Num Lock` white override can be toggled in VIA.
+- `4` per-key override slots work in VIA.
+- Per-key overrides persist after unplug/replug.
+- Stock backlight settings persist after unplug/replug.
+- Custom effect `cycle_in_out_dual` is available and replaces `band_val`.
+- ACK/UI cleanup is included in this build.
+
+Important UI notes:
+- `Esc (special)` is the correct target for the `Esc` LED.
+- `Knob` is a placeholder alignment entry and does not currently map to a visible RGB LED target.
+- If the same key is assigned in more than one per-key slot, the newer slot wins.
+- VIA may not immediately refresh the older slot's displayed dropdown value after duplicate-key dedupe.
+
+How to use:
+1. Flash the included firmware `.bin`.
+2. Load the included VIA `.JSON`.
+3. Use the `Lighting` menu in VIA for:
+   - stock backlight settings
+   - `Indicators > Lock White Override`
+   - `Per-Key Override (Slot 1..4)`
+
+Known exclusions from this release:
+- The experimental per-key color-selector / color-wheel firmware is not included.
+- Per-slot enable toggles are not included.
+- Dynamic dropdown filtering is not supported by stock VIA.
+
+Project fallback references still kept outside this release folder:
+- original firmware: `firmware/Epomaker Galaxy100 Lite CS8910-V108-20250610_Original.bin`
