Disable positron assistant

The presence of AI assistant has prompted our institution to disable the ability to install Positron on our PCs (healthcare, patient privacy etc.). Is there a possibility of installing/setting up positron in a way that users cannot enable the AI assistant. Thanks.

Positron Assistant is in fact off by default; you have to opt in to the use any of the AI features:

Can you say more about what your institution is looking for, beyond it not being on by default?

Thank you for the quick response. I did see that it was disabled by default. I (the institution) want the user to be prevented from enabling it i.e. make that specific setting unavailable for modification by user. Thanks.

In fact, that kind of enterprise compliance need is exactly what Workbench is suited for!
