Motivation

• Introduce documentation for the new bidDesirabilityAdjustment bidder setting so publishers understand how to rank bids by a publisher-defined score without changing CPM.
• Clarify how desirability interacts with existing CPM adjustments, price buckets, and ad server targeting so users can adopt the feature safely.

Description

• Add bidDesirabilityAdjustment to the pbjs.bidderSettings attribute table with scope, version (11.15.0) and a short description.
• Add a new section that explains the purpose, arguments (bidDesirabilityAdjustment(cpm, bidResponse, bidRequest)), fallback behavior (logs error and falls back to adjusted CPM) and a usage example showing how to prefer deal bids for ordering without changing CPM.
• Update surrounding wording to note that price-bucket changes do not affect CPM or desirability ordering, adjust heading levels and link text to satisfy lint rules.

Testing

• Ran npx --yes markdownlint-cli --config .markdownlint.json dev-docs/publisher-api-reference/bidderSettings.md, which passed after the edits.
• Performed bundle install to install site dependencies and then ran bundle exec jekyll build, which completed successfully and generated the site.
• Note: markdownlint was not available in PATH initially so npx was used, and jekyll required bundle install before the build could run.
