Hi @BarneyWhiteman and thanks for submitting SpicyText!

I had a look at your metadata and I think the escape characters \ are causing the parser to fail. Markdown links are also supported as is, with no need to escape special characters.

This library.properties template may be helpful.

I used the template so I believe the library.properties file is being auto-generated from my release.properties which doesn't contain any of the \ escape characters. Could it be something in the generation that's adding the escape characters?

Happy to fix it manually though if that's needed!

Looks like updating the library.properties (SpicyText.txt) in the release didn't work 😅

Could it be the use of the square brackets [ ] the paragraph?

@BarneyWhiteman sorry for the troubles you've faced. I've found the problem. The properties file is parsed, and then input into the next script as a json string delimited by single quotes - yet there is an apostrophe in one of your strings that isn't escaped, which terminates the string prematurely. I'm working on a fix, but I'm not there yet.
