Tab for completion

Hi,

I'm sure it's a stupid question but after long search I cannot see why in the room I can't complete a name with «TAB», it's working with shift-Tab. When I press tab the page scroll up a little.

I'm using zsh and the «TAB» is bind to

 "^I" complete-word

I also try bash and same issue. I check the bind -P

complete can be found on "\C-i".

I'm using alacritty as terminal but I also install konsole, same result.

Any idea ?

Do you use tmux/screen or similar?
What does echo $TERM say?
Run showkey -a and press tab, then check what it returns. Is it ^I?
Do you have something regarding tab in your alacritty.toml?

who seem OK for me.

For showkey I got

showkey -a

Press any keys - Ctrl-D will terminate this program

	 	  9 0011 0x09

who seem «ok» for me (the 09) but that's not really in my domain (euphemism).

No nothing in the alacritty.toml (just color).

I should say I'm using «direnv» and «starship» but before I post the first message I already tested without both of them.
