I use latest git build of robrix on Artix GNU/Linux.

Colour gradients and antialiasing seems to be working "ugly".

whoa, that is certainly a unique problem. I've tested extensively on over a dozen machines and have never seen that.

My first gut instinct here is that it's a screen resolution issue. Are you using a hi-dpi screen, or maybe fractional scaling or something? I'm not sure what I can do about this in Robrix (likely nothing), but I'll reach out to the Makepad team tomorrow to see if they have any ideas.

after more thought, it could be a GPU issue, graphics driver issue, or OpenGL version issue as well. In addition to more screenshots, can you provide the output of the following:

Also when you run any makepad app like robrix, do you see a line that includes "renderer" in the log? That should tell use more about your OpenGL setup.

thanks, much appreciated! Looks like a sampling/filtering issue, which is a particularly bad known issue with GL on Mesa drivers.

I'll work on a solution and let you know when it's ready. I won't be able to test it since I don't have that hardware, but of course there's no pressure on you to test it if you're short on time.
