Bugbell - A simple github repo issue notifier.

This is a project made during the hacktober fest 2025 for Appwrite Hackathon.

Tech Stack

This project uses Next.js as the base frontend framework, with the following additional libraries to carry out the intended tasks.

• Appwrite
• Shadcn
• Better-Auth (for github oauth)

How it works

• Login with your github account.
• Thats it, Start tracking issues of your starred repos.
• You will be provided with the following params:
  • Issue name(with specified github repo name)
  • Language
  • PR tag(to segregate between issues and PR)
  • Status(open/closed)
  • Created
  • Action(navigate to the issue page with one click)

Simple but a useful tool for everyday contributors.

This project is hosted on Appwrite Sites at (https://bugbell.appwrite.network/)
