1. I don't think this is an immediate problem, but it would be good to set PYMUPDF_SETUP_MUPDF_BUILD to the path of the extracted (and patched) mupdf. At the moment things only work because the file mupdf-1.27.2-source.tar.gz and directory mupdf-1.27.2-source happen to match what pymuupdf's setup.py creates, but this is not guaranteed.

2. Pytest appears to be descending into pymupdf's mupdf-source directory, which is not helpful. Pymupdf's tests/ directory needs to be included in the pytest command to avoid this.

3. To investigate the crash, we'll need to see a full C backtrace, e.g. from running pytest under gdb. Preferably with a debug build of mupdf by building with PYMUPDF_SETUP_MUPDF_BUILD_TYPE=debug.
