Question about the test data

Thanks for developing this nice MLE decoder!

This is not an issue, just a question: how did you generate the test circuits under testdata? Did you use open or closed source tools/scripts? They look quite useful for benchmarking decoders/protocols across code families/noise models.

Hi @abbrazi of course, Oscar made these circuits. I am not sure exactly how to reproduce them and I think it would be nice to release the code, but curious what @oscarhiggott thinks.

I can look into open sourcing the code to generate the BB code circuits, but in the meantime it's worth pointing out that the surface code and color code circuits were generated using the code in the chromobius repo, e.g. see: https://github.com/quantumlib/chromobius/blob/main/src/clorco/_make_circuit.py
