Major version mismatch between next and eslint-config-next
Medium Severity
Bumping next to ^15.5.15 while eslint-config-next remains pinned at 14.0.0 creates a major version mismatch. The Next.js upgrade guide explicitly states that eslint-config-next needs to be updated alongside next to the matching major version. This mismatch can cause incorrect ESLint rule application, version detection warnings, and missing rules specific to Next.js 15 patterns. The eslint-config-next dependency needs to be bumped to a v15-compatible version.

Note
Medium Risk
Medium risk because this is a major Next.js upgrade (14→15) that changes runtime/build behavior and Node engine requirements, and updates a large set of transitive dependencies (including optional native
sharpbinaries).Overview
