In 2026, the biggest challenges I see are AI-powered phishing and malware, supply-chain attacks, and cloud misconfigurations. Attacks are getting more automated and harder to spot. On the defense side, basics still matter most: zero-trust access, strong identity security (MFA everywhere), continuous monitoring, and keeping dependencies updated. Teams also need to assume breaches will happen and focus more on detection and fast response rather than just prevention. |
