Terminal doesn't properly wrap long lines

When trying to type out a long command on the terminal UI of the extension, i noticed that the characters overwrite the characters on the start of the line, please see the screenshot below:

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a RHEL VM
2. Try to type in a long line in the terminal

Flagging that I'm seeing this behavior as well. It also does some funky stuff if you need to go back and edit a long line. I'm attaching videos
