Create a function or option to package built files into a TAR file or other archive format so that it can be attached to a bug or issue and expanded somewhere else, such as a web server.

Context - this is more of a future-thinking feature.

Ideally, we'd want to decide on a standard, non-clashing naming convention based on values in the yaml file and a date/time stamp. Version? Variant?

Note - created a basic set of functions to achieve this, but it's still a future-thinking feature. Before anything along these lines can be implemented, we'd need to make sure it's something we need, what the exact format would be, and who would consume these packages.
