Can't setup connection to Microsoft Azure VPN (SKU Basic)

Microsoft Azure Point to Site VPN with basic sku does not support IKEv2, so I went towards to use sstp-client, but as Azure does not provide username and passoword, is it possible to connect using only certificate?

I too am looking for getting this to work natively on Mac with sstp. We also only have Basic SKU.
