backgroundlogger doesn't support listeners

Hi,
I instantiated BackgroundLogger() in a listener I'm writing. I know the limitation of listener logging but anyhow the print are not redirected to robot logger so I can see as plain text messages in console log only. Is there any way to fix or I should create my own helper?
