📏 BETWEEN Operator - Range-Based Filtering

🌟 Overview

The BETWEEN Operator in a WHERE clause filters rows where a column’s value falls within a specified range (inclusive). It’s ideal for numerical, date, or string ranges, simplifying queries for AI/ML data preparation.


📜 Syntax

SELECT column1, column2, ...
FROM table_name
WHERE column BETWEEN value1 AND value2;
  • Example (Numbers):
    SELECT product_name, price
    FROM products
    WHERE price BETWEEN 50 AND 100;
  • Example (Dates):
    SELECT order_id
    FROM orders
    WHERE order_date BETWEEN '2024-01-01' AND '2024-12-31';
