Adding a couple of helpful macros and applying them to prism.c. This is purely an aesthetics change, the code should be functionally equivalent.
Part of this is to make things more readable, part of this is to reduce the number of places where we are calling
node->baseornode->locationornode->flags. If we're going to change the location to use 32-bit integers, it would ease the migration process if there were fewer places that accessed it directly.
