Describe topic
Everyone knows that Ruby is a great choice for web development, as showcased by Github, Gitlab, Shopify and many others. It's also a nice language to build stand-alone CLI applications.

But using Ruby for server management is a niche that's not as well-known. When I started doing exactly that 14 years ago, I didn't
even know at first that I was using Ruby.

In my talk "Infrastructure as Ruby Code", I'm going to explain why I prefer Chef/CINC over other IaC solutions, and demonstrate how easy it is to manage hundreds of Linux servers with minimal manual effort.
