"number<'_>" makes me think that someone is parsing the output of type_name which has no stability guarantees whatsoever and which was changed in #145284 to contain lifetime arguments. If my guess is true (90% certainty) then this is a WONTFIX.

The regressed wg crate depends on fluent-static version 0.5.0. This issue has been fixed in fluent-static version 0.5.1. zaytsev/fluent-static#21

Looking at the PR that fixed the issue, the macro was indeed (and still is) parsing the type_name.
