So it's expected that you cannot ping it. See our docs for more details.

It's not a one-off.

@Urgau We then probably should update our docs on how to introduce notification groups, apparently it was forgotten this time. Based on https://rustc-dev-guide.rust-lang.org/notification-groups/gpu-target.html, the ping should have worked.
I can make a small pr to fix it in the next days.

Please note that the context for those ping groups were originally only intended for rust-lang/rust, it was never actually explicitly intended for usage on other repos, which is why the instructions don't reflect it.
