Reporting Issues

This is about reporting issues, not getting personal support. If you think the problem you are experiencing is only happening to you, check help & support instead.

"Issues" are those problem with OpenRW which can be reproduced and can not be solved without assistance by a developer or project maintainer.

Make sure you always use a build based on the latest source code when reporting an issue. Otherwise the problem might have been resolved already.

If you would like to report an issue with OpenRW, please check the issue list first to make sure it has not already been reported. You may be able to provide extra information on an already reported issues.

Crashes

If you are reporting a crash, please include a back trace.

Script issues

To help with resolving issues related to scripts, include the follow information when reporting missing opcodes or non-functional scripts:

1. Location in the map
2. The missing opcode, if any
3. The mission being played, if any
4. Steps required to reproduce the issue
