The term "Canonical" is misleading across versions: in v1.3.0 it refers to deployments via Arachnid's Deterministic Deployment Proxy (pre-EIP-155 tx), while in v1.4.1+ it refers to deployments via the Safe Singleton Factory (EIP-155 replay-protected) — the same factory that v1.3.0 calls "EIP-155". Nothing in the repo explained this.
