FYI @henryiii and @APN-Pucky I made a couple of trivial modifications to mention HDF5 explicitly given that we just started getting these as well.

Merging now but the look-up for files needs to be updated for HDF5 files.

It's always a good idea to touch up this file if there's conventions or anything else that can't easily be found from the static analysis (like adding the .readme files, etc).
