RELEASE NOTES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

RF-CHAOS v1.0.0

It's the first release of RF-CHAOS! And so yeah it's probably going to be not amazing on every device, but so far things have been pretty good. Since this is the first release I'm just going to redundantly list the things that are on the main README.md, but as this project grows, this section will become more and more important.

Initial Features:

• WiFi Scanning - Detect networks with SSID, BSSID, channel, security type, signal strength
• BLE Scanning - Bluetooth Low Energy device detection with manufacturer data
• BLE RPA Resolution - Resolve (and then track devices) via RPAs (Resolvable Private Addresses) by using IRK (Identity Resolving Key) values. Basically, IRKs allow you to have the magic decoder ring for finding your target even when they’re using a fake MAC address.
• Signal Finder - Track specific devices by MAC address via WiFi, BLE, Bluetooth, or even IRK "Protected" addresses.
• GPS Logging - Record coordinates for every network observation as well as route travelled, LOCALLY on your phone. Export to CSV options.
• CSV Export - We are pretty big on privacy, so everything is logged in a local database that never leaves your phone UNLESS YOU SPECIFICALLY EXPORT IT! The current CSV export specifically uses WIGLE's formatting, although their app does not appear to have any easy way to import CSV files.
• Local Only SQLite Database - Our Local-Only Storage for all devices is by design. This tool, like any tool designed by the team at PACKET.TEL has user privacy in mind. That said, we offer CSV Export (see above) that uses WIGLENET formatting in case you want to submit it to their API or if they create a feature to import data from other apps in the future.
• Wide Android OS Support - This tool was designed to allow installation and usage going all the way back to Android version 8 to current.
