What is Clickjacking?

Clickjacking, also known as UI redressing, is a deceptive technique used by attackers to trick users into clicking on something different from what they perceive they are clicking on. It involves overlaying invisible or opaque elements over legitimate clickable elements on a webpage, thereby hijacking the user's clicks and potentially leading them to unintended actions.

  • Content Security Policy (CSP): Utilize CSP headers to control which domains can embed your content in iframes, mitigating the risk of clickjacking attacks.

  • UI Design: Design user interfaces with clear visual cues and feedback to help users distinguish legitimate clickable elements from potentially malicious ones.
