💎 Code of Conduct

Welcome to the OOP C++ Learning Repository! We’re building a space that encourages learning, respect, and collaboration. This Code of Conduct outlines expectations for everyone participating in this project to maintain a positive, inclusive, and professional environment.

🌟 Our Pledge

We, as members, contributors, and maintainers, pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of:

  • Age
  • Gender identity or expression
  • Race, ethnicity, or cultural background
  • Level of experience or education
  • Religion, political belief, or personal values
  • Disability or appearance

We commit to contributing to an open, welcoming, and inspiring learning environment.

💬 Our Standards

✅ Examples of positive behavior include:

  • Showing empathy and kindness toward others
  • Offering constructive, respectful feedback
  • Being open to different perspectives and learning styles
  • Using inclusive and welcoming language
  • Helping beginners and encouraging learning

🚫 Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Use of sexualized language or imagery
  • Insults, personal attacks, or trolling
  • Public or private harassment
  • Discrimination of any kind
  • Sharing private information without consent
  • Any behavior that could reasonably be viewed as inappropriate in a professional setting

⚖️ Responsibilities of Maintainers

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying the standards of acceptable behavior and will take appropriate, fair action in response to any violations.

They have the right to remove or reject:

  • Comments, commits, code, or contributions that violate this Code of Conduct
  • Issues or pull requests that include disrespectful or inappropriate content

Maintainers will communicate reasons for moderation decisions when appropriate.

🚨 Enforcement

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting the project maintainer:

All reports will be reviewed and investigated promptly and confidentially. The project team is obligated to maintain the privacy and safety of all involved parties.

⚙️ Enforcement Guidelines

  1. Correction — A private, written warning explaining the violation and how to correct it.
  2. Warning — A public warning for continued inappropriate behavior.
  3. Temporary Ban — Temporary suspension from community participation.
  4. Permanent Ban — Permanent removal from the project and related spaces.

💡 Attribution

This Code of Conduct is adapted from the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1, and incorporates community standards inspired by Mozilla’s code of conduct enforcement ladder.
