Python 3.14.5 introduces tkinter 9.03 on MacOS, with some performance issues

Python 3.14.5 on MacOS introduces tkinter version 9.0.3 (upgraded from 8.6.17). There appear to be some performance issues with the tkinter 9 implementation on MacOS Tahoe which can result in slow GUI updates. For the time being, PyGPSClient users are advised to remain on 3.14.4 / tkinter 8.6.17 until these are resolved. Other operating systems do not appear to be affected.
