Impossible to launch ng serve

When I try to launch in the client directory the command "npm start" I receive the error:

The serve command requires to be run in an Angular project, but a project definition could not be found.

Please can help me?

This happens when you try to run an Angular command "ng serve" on the other folder instead of the root folder of the Angular application

for example, my path 1 is (/Desktop/Upskill/Angular-todo-list/Todo_List_Angular ) if I try to run in this file I will get your error
to fix it I need to CD the correct folder path and that will be (/Desktop/Upskill/Angular-todo-list/Todo_List_Angular/todolist )
