SimpleLogin Android version: 1.19.1 (io.simplelogin.android.fdroid)
Say I want to send an email to info@example.com from example_alias@simplelogin.io. Currently, I would open the app, go to the example_alias alias and then click "Send Email".
This brings me to the Contacts screen, where I have to do the following to send an email:
- Remember if I already emailed the contact, if I did skip step 2 or you'll just get a "Duplicated contact" message.
- Create the new contact.
- Scroll through the contact list with no search feature to find the contact in question (if it has been a while since I emailed this contact, this can be quite a struggle).
I would like to see the following improvements:
- Creating a duplicate contact should not just show a toast but instead offer you to send a message to the contact (this prevents having to scroll through the list). Creating a new contact should also instantly offer to send a message.
- The Contacts screen should have a search feature to quickly search for contacts and if no results are found a button should be shown to create the contact in question.
Would you accept contributions to improve this for Hacktoberfest? And do my suggested ways of improving this seem reasonable or would you prefer another solution? If so, which?
