Showing duplicates in image search

Having duplicate photos will "invade" the search results, even more when similarity threshold is high.
An option to "hide" duplicates in search results would be great.

A good example is if you have the same photo in different formats (jpeg, png, DNG...)
As a photographer your app is gold, I really think hiding duplicates based on a very high similarity threshold would be useful.

This is something i may possibly add since its been mentioned a few times. I would likely make it a toggle-enabled setting e.g "enable hide duplicates" because it can make search slightly slower in some cases.

Out of interest do you use it as part of a bigger workflow? I'm curious because for a while i've been thinking about creating an extended / more powerful version with additional features for specific niches such as art and photography. So if you could share any details of how you use it, that would be helpful. Feel free to email me if you don't want to share here.

Yes, a toggle would be ideal!

Regarding my workflow:
I do a lot of motorsport photography, and I use the app primarily to navigate my offline backups. Each track has distinct visuals, but my edits vary based on client needs. The app is "gold" because it allows me to find a specific set by typing something like "red car" or "sunrise" or anything... It hits the global tone perfectly without me having to dig through tons of folders. Imagine a friend want to see all my night shots, then I just type "night" and I can in a second show him all night shots.

If you do build a "Pro" version to make profit, features like batch export the filtered results or metadata-based filtering (shutter speed, ISO...) would be incredible for photographers, I know some apps already do that but that's just a thought to have a centralized app!

Good work on this, i'm a game-designer / tech-art, I'm not very familiar with mobile app development (outside of Quest VR), otherwise I would have loved to contribute to this project!
