Symlinks are not created

I'm trying to automatically create symlinks so that I don't have to manually create them or copy files to ~/.config, but the symlinks just aren't created.

I've already tried

and the same with file."$HOME/.config/sketchybar" = {}

is there a reason why you aren't using services.sketchybar.config?

if you want to do it without, it needs a target path

so something like

configFile."sketchybar/sketchybarrc" = {
  source = ./config;
};

or

configFile.sketchybar = {
  source = ./config;
  target = "sketchybar/sketchybarrc"
};

is there a reason why you aren't using services.sketchybar.config?

I haven't seen that I can pass the config as an option. I'll try that :D

so something like

source = ./config;
};
or

configFile.sketchybar = {
source = ./config;
target = "sketchybar/sketchybarrc"
};

Ah okay. I'll give this a try as well

EDIT
targetdoes not work. Symlink is still not created.
