Mass spring implementation

Hi I want to implement a mass spring system of an object in collision with another one. Is it correct to use the Meshspring force field?

You can choose to use a mass-spring model for your mechanical representation. This is independent from the method used as a contact response. Both penalty and LM approaches can be used.
