While the show interfaces counters command has the ability to filter based on an optional interface argument, the same is not true for its sub-commands. Notably, errors, fec-stats, and rates do not provide the same functionality. Operators find themselves often grepping the entire table output to filter for the specific port(s) they're interested in, which slows down field triage/debugging.
