Notable additions:

  • Solver: speed-up, clingo v6 support, cache concretization results, matrix excludes, intel-oneapi-compilers bugfixes
  • Windows: remove pywin32, fix logging deadlock, safer stage/cleanup, native tar, lock and shell fixes
  • GPG/signing: full module refactor, new key-trust and mirror-trust approach, remove obsolete commands
  • New installer: splicing support, forkserver on macOS, global state marshaler performance opt
  • Config/environment: variable expansion in concrete includes, env vars in package_attributes, improve defaults, remove view/hash indirection
  • Bootstrap/parallel: POSIX paths in bootstrap env, forkserver/spawn support, retry with backoff and jitter
  • SBOM: generate SBOMs during package installation (#51760)
