Display grid images without a .png/.jpg ending

Hello,

I saw that the grid plugin can look for an image column (containing URIs ending in .png or .jpg)

would there be a way to indicate that a property URL serves images, even if they have other endings?

For example, I resource that I work with share thumbnails as https://idr.openmicroscopy.org/webgateway/render_thumbnail/3125701/

it can be directly embedded, e.g.:

But it does not end with either .png or jpg.

It could be something at the sparnatural end too, similar to default labels one could specify default thumbnail properties?

Yes we would like to do that.
The way it should be handled is the following:

1. in the SHACL config, the property shape that contains the image should be annotated with dash:propertyRole dash:DepictionRole (see here) - just like the property containing the human-readable label is annotated with dash:LabelRole
2. The YasGui grid plugin should parse the table header, parse the query, determine from which variable each column comes from in the query, and find the corresponding proeprty shape it comes from in the config
3. If the property shape is annotated with dash:DepictionRole, then it should be taken as the image

So you could start annotating your config with dash:propertyRole dash:DepictionRole... and wait for us to have some bandwidth...
