I have additional questions (one of which I added as a reply), but they stray too far from the intent of this example and should be considered fodder for a longer term discussion. As it currently stands, I think this makes the intended point.

Maybe change "Engineering Students need consumer hardware to give a visible indication that the digital electronics is held in reset." to "Engineering Students need consumer hardware to give a visible indication that the digital electronics is held in reset state."
