Suggestion: add codemeta.json as asset or link

If the application repository contains a codemeta.json or it's published as part of a release, having it as an asset or link provides a good traceability for the application code repository metadata.

What would make more sense? Asset or Link? Is this something people would normally download?
Does this format have a specific media type? Otherwise, we need a specific relation type.
Is this something that the codemeta specification already defines?

I think an asset makes more sense as codemeta targets describing a software repository and thus accessing information contained there makes a lot of sense.
I don't think there's a specific media type.
