As stated by @santikka at #330, currently,
statfunctions in bayesplot, such asppc_statandppd_stat, completely rely on histograms while plotting. This is problematic since histograms are not optimal for discrete data, which the user might be working with. To overcome this issue, this PR adds adiscreteargument to fourstatfunctions:ppc_stat,ppc_stat_grouped,ppd_stat, andppd_stat_grouped. The argument is by default set toFALSE, so the functions behave as previously. However, when it is set toTRUE, it callsgeom_barand plots a bar plot.Tasks:
