The Mace Style Validator automatically checks your documents against the Mace Control Centre Writing Style Guide. It supports Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio files. It identifies issues and automatically fixes many common errors, ensuring consistent, professional documentation.
The validator checks for:
✅ Font Consistency
- All text standardised to Arial
- Consistent heading fonts
✅ Hard-coded Style Rules
- Rules fetched from SharePoint and applied directly
Note: AI-powered corrections (British English spelling, contraction expansion, symbol replacement) are temporarily disabled and may be re-enabled in a future update.
