     I shifted to a penthouse. My room is literally on the terrace, so after a long, long time I have the open sky for myself. And I'm obsessed with it. I was sick of looking at the concrete jungle all around ever since I came here. Way too much development for my taste. The last time I got to look at the sky endlessly was probably back in university.
     
     What's even better is that rains are here. It took its time this year, but Bangalore doesn't disappoint. I learned recently that humans can smell rains better than sharks can smell blood.

     My mom received a call from someone today. She mistook it for her - she says the voice was unmistakably similar. Until I reminded her that her number began with an "8" and not a "7", she couldn't believe that it wasn't her.
     Funny, isn't it? That woman had heard her voice much less than I had, yet she remembers it so well.
