Release Process

Tagging

Create a git tag matching:

  • v*

Example:

  • v0.1.0

The release workflow packages:

  • RetreivrPlex.bundle.zip
  • RetreivrPlex.bundle-v0.1.0.zip

Install Asset

Use the stable asset for operator docs:

  • RetreivrPlex.bundle.zip

Use the versioned asset when you want the tag included in the filename:

  • RetreivrPlex.bundle-v0.1.0.zip

Manual Install Steps

  1. Download the release asset
  2. Extract it so the directory name remains RetreivrPlex.bundle
  3. Copy the extracted bundle into the Plex plug-ins directory
  4. Restart Plex

First Test Checklist

  1. Open plugin preferences
  2. Set the Retreivr Core Base URL
  3. Set the Resolution API Base URL
  4. Save preferences
  5. Open Backend Status
  6. Confirm both services are reachable
  7. Run an artist search
  8. Open albums
  9. Open tracks
  10. Queue one track and one album
