Merged cells rendering issue when exporting to PDF

Problematic behavior
When exporting a document containing a table with merged cells, the table structure is broken in the generated PDF file.
Merged cells are split or content is misaligned, resulting in empty rows or incorrect positioning (see attached screenshot).

Expected behavior/code
The table in the PDF should be identical to the one in the editor, with merged cells reflecting the original layout.

Steps to Reproduce
Create a table in the Docs editor.
Merge several cells vertically (e.g., "test 4" and "test 5" columns in the example).
Export the document as a PDF.
Open the PDF.

Yes we identified this problem: #924

As a turnaround, you can use the print mode, and choose print as pdf.
