unable to switch btw tabs manually using mouse cursor

on version 3.7.17960, when i try to switch btw tabs all i get is the close tab ❌symbol for every tab, how to fix this issue?

I can't reproduce this i.e. I mouse click on a tab and it switches.

How exactly are you switching between tabs? Can you provide a screenshot or screen recording showing the issue?

i'm not even able to rearrange the tabs, nor select one. to switcg btw tabs i'm only able to use keyboard shortcuts - ctrl+tab .

Well, you made it sound like it doesn't work at all but you have so many tabs that each tab becomes so small that there's only space for close button.

I suggest you use Ctrl + tab (CmdNextTabSmart) if you have so many tabs.

I didn't experience this issue in previous versions

should be fixed. I've made them like in chrome: when tabs become small enough, we don't show close button on non-selected tabs, which allows switching to and dragging without triggering close.
