Open Files in presentation always

I open files from the recent documents window frequently.
Is it possible to open files always in presentation mode by default?
I googled this and tried various suggestions. Nothing worked actually.

Hmm it depends the default opening command is usually in registry as SumatraPDF....then some options but those don't usually include the -presentation switch.

-presentation : start in presentation view

So rather than edit the default it is usually easier to use a shortcut either via rightclick or sendto or drag and drop where the shortcut includes the presentation switch.

It may not always work as expected in all cases but on double click that shortcut opens in presentation mode.
here in my sandbox I can then use the menu keys rather than tabs

If you place that shortcut in your personal SENDTO folder then rightclick sendto SumatraPDF presentation is now available
