Use tabs option not working

Hi, even if I set the (use tabs) option, when I open the second pdf, it opens in a new instance, not appears in the same window on another tab. In the earlier versions it worked. I use version 3.7.18446 per-realease.

Tabs should be working like before unless the settings are off so this is a recent install today and the tab was opened from explorer whilst others were active

What WILL usually cause the described condition is if ReuseInstance = false as that is a setting to use separate windows and not reuse the existing one.

@GitHubRulesOK Thank you so much!!! This fixed it :) I love Sumatra and I wish I knew all the tricks on the "advanced settings" to make it even better. I am glad that I found the forum.

@Duan123rh this topic is about tabs affected by -reuse-instance or ReuseInstance = the existing toolbar can be user customised for highlights my illustration is only the PLUS floating toolbars that means one key =extra clicker toolbar not 96 custom key icons on the toolbar itself
