SumatraPDF Prints Portrait Documents in Landscape

Describe the bug
When printing a prescription PDF through SumatraPDF inside an Electron application, the output always prints in landscape, even though the document is intended to be portrait. SumatraPDF appears to auto‑rotate the file based on its own internal logic or the printer defaults.

Expected behavior
PDF should print in portrait orientation exactly as designed, without SumatraPDF auto‑rotating the content or defaulting to landscape

It always was normal for GhostScript or SumatraPDF "Auto Print to use Auto rotate to "fit"
When command line printing you need to ensure several things
1 edit the setting from shrink to

PrintScale = none

on the command line add one of the 3 as required noscale, shrink or fit AND there is no "rotate off" but
autorotate is DEFAULT but note

"autorotate is the current functionality portrait forces portrait mode (x shorter than y) landscape forces landscape mode (y shorter than x)"

Covered in the manual as
portrait or landscape : can provide 90 degree rotation of contents (NOT the rotation of paper which must be pre-set by the choice of printer defaults)
whilst not the same process you can see autorotate priciple is applied by Windows Print here it will auto rotate by default even if the HP printer is a portrait one

I have set the PrintScale to none and I am passing noscale but still page is rotated. I am expecting page to be in portrait but it is printing in landscape orientation. The same file if print using java native print, it is printing in portrait.
Is there a workaround ?
Note: My HP Driver orientation is set to portrait.

While running blind SumatraPDF offers image to the named printer what the print driver does with autorotate is thus unseen.

The DEFAULT PRINTER IS the KEY if it has a default of portrait then the rotation is based on those units so if it comes out the wrong way the word landscape may be needed it is NOT FORCE direction it is an override to the other direction
it would be better if those words were rotateL and rotateP you need to use either based on the result

For what it is worth when I print your image (cut to portrait format) the result from my HP is as per expectation (apart from no defined margins so should add whitespace around the image.

Landscape

"C:\Program Files\SumatraPDF\SumatraPDF" -print-to "HP928555 (HP DeskJet 3630 series)" -print-settings "A4,landscape,noscale" test.png

Portrait is

"C:\Program Files\SumatraPDF\SumatraPDF" -print-to "HP928555 (HP DeskJet 3630 series)" -print-settings "A4,portrait,noscale" test.png

Thus my Default Printer is providing that orientation but if I set

"C:\Program Files\SumatraPDF\SumatraPDF" -print-to "HP928555 (HP DeskJet 3630 series)" -print-settings "A5,portrait,fit" test.png

It will FIT the image not to A5 but to the A4 page as it sees the DEFAULT PAPER is A4 and respects FIT TO PAPER

This is NOT a SumatraPDF issue but an issue with Windows Default Printing.
As an example this is 4 different command line Prints using MS print to PDF
Top left is ASK to maintain image as Landscape it fits side to side.
Bottom left is let it be auto rotated ( same as top right it is rotated to FIT Portrait.)

So the only way to get the correct A3 as Landscape is set the PRINTER to landscape then the fit will follow the SYSTEM defaults (Bottom Right)

@kjk like many other similar complaints the problem is how to tell the System Default to change, requires separate Default Printer settings outside SumatraPDF default controls.
