Is it possible to add this feature? Maybe on this popup: "Fond text at page ...":

Like: 1/183

I can see it can make to show results a little bit slower for big files, but maybe add this as non standard option?
I think it is really helpful while searching and give nice clue where are you in your searching trip.

There are not too many apps which doesn't show this information.

This seems ever so simple but is not we call those a SMOP.
There are no groups of letters in a PDF to count so it may seem odd there are not a fixed number of pages nor a fixed number of letters to count since the pages will be generated one by one and the letters per page generated one by one or 3 by one or one by 3.
So we THINK a page is fixed as it is seen as ONE DRAWING when viewing but took time to DRAW.

For searching a PDF that means we look for a NUMERIC Token that matches the character in the find box so look for A or a NOT À Á Â Ã Ä Å Ā Ă Ą Ǎ Ȧ Ⱥ Ấ Ầ Ẩ Ẫ Ậ Ắ Ằ Ẳ Ẵ Ặ Ǡ Ǟ Ǻ Ḁ, Ⱥ, Ä, Á, À, Â, Ã, Ā, Ą Ɑ Ɒ à á â ã ä å ā ă ą ǎ ȧ ⱥ ấ ầ ẩ ẫ ậ ắ ằ ẳ ẵ ặ ǡ ǟ ǻ ɑ ɐ and there are others.

How many in the document match means scan all pages for 1 character now add a second character and scan all pages for the 2 TOKENS the count is reduced a very significant amount.
Again add a third character so ABC is only found ONCE on THIS PAGE but if this page is one of a thousand we would need to wait ages to scan EVERY TOKEN and than again if user adds one find token or removes or changes one token.

the PAGE X OF ### is shown in top box when an initial scan of the page tokens has been first checked so the total number of pages in a PDF is fairly static unless it is an XFA type of PDF and thus possible to see the info box

Several scripts have been suggested for COUNT tokens as if WORDS but they then will be slow and cumbersome.
If you want to highlight and count OR just count it takes roughly the same set of interactions and thus I have written several over a number of years should you find any of use for one task.
