Find & Replace feature scroll issue

What happened?

In one of my apps having superdoc integrated I am facing one issue regarding 'Find & Replace' option, when using 'Find & Replace' and trying to navigate to next occurance of the searched word, there is a scroll triggered causing the UI inside to shift a little upwards(around 50px), seems like some issue with Prose mirror causing the scroll

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the 'Find & Replace' option (using ctrl+f)
2. Search for some word
3. Navigate to next occurance of that word by pressing enter key or using the navigation buttons

Since it is not there on the https://www.superdoc.dev/ yet, please confirm if any version have 'Find & Replace' as stable feature?

Hi @dharmesh-09; we actually shipped a fix to the scroll behavior for Find & Replace in SD v 1.34.0. So this should already be resolved!

Could you try upgrading to that version (or latest stable, 1.35.0) and let me know how things are looking on your end?

Hi @vivienne-sd, I tried v 1.34.0 and v 1.35.0, but still the scroll issue is happening, this issue is happening on navigating through arrows and also navigating with enter key, please check and if possible add findReplace to superdoc.dev, it might be helpful to track from there

Hi @dharmesh-09 - thanks for checking 1.34.0 and 1.35.0. You’re right: we reproduced this on 1.35.0 and on our latest build in a small embedded setup. This is a real bug, and it’s different from the issue fixed in 1.34.0.

What’s happening is that moving to the next or previous match can scroll the document even when that match is already visible. That’s the ~50px jump you’re seeing with Enter and the arrow buttons. The 1.34.0 fix was about keeping focus in the search box, so it didn’t change this behavior.

We’re tracking a fix so the document only moves when the next match is off screen.

On your other question: find & replace is supported since 1.24.0. It’s off by default and needs to be enabled in your config, which is why it isn’t shown on the superdoc.dev demo right now.
