No audio output on Linux

This seems to be a regression. 0.15.46 worked fine.

Upgrading the Qt version does not fix the issue. Qt 6.10 introduced a pipewire backend.

Audio plugins are loaded correctly. Audio input seems to be affected as well.

When playing back the notification sounds I hear some crackling, so maybe some buffer issue?

The lagging input bar likely comes from issues on Ubuntu 22.04, which only partially uses PipeWire (the new audio backend primarily used since Qt 6.10). Ubuntu 24.04, for example, works without problems.

After installing wireplumber and pipewire-pulse and enabling them on 22.04, the issue with distorted sound and the lagging input bar was resolved.

I suggest, also considering other issues, upgrading to Ubuntu 24.04 (22.04 reaches end of standard support in April 2027).
