Numba functions -

Hi Joshua,

I have seen your blog post on using JIT to replace some numpy functions by numba JIT.
This is an excellent blog post.
Am already working on this, having the same issues to accelerate some functions.

Just wondering, if there were some interest to merge some numba JIT code together,
to form a small library of JIT code. It would help to prevent re-inveting the wheel.

You might find https://github.com/QuantEcon/rvlib interesting, as they took some of the ideas from my blog post and built out a fairly complete library of statistical distribution functions. I'm using a more limited set of functions built in a similar way to how I described in the blog post internally at my current job, but have no real plans to write a library.

Thanks for the reference, it lookd interesting.
This is necessary the goal to write a library, but gathers utilities
functions (sorting, data processing, ...)
to replace numpy /pandas func whenever possible.
